filthy rags

“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)

In the sight of God, even our best deeds are like filthy rags compared to the awesome purity of his holiness. His holiness is like a consuming fire that burns up all impurity in an instant.

So there is nothing we can do on our own to earn salvation

FIRST read and study the Bible

The simple answer is that you need to FIRST read and study the Bible, Christian doctrines and Jewish Law and traditions YOURSELF BEFORE you come to debate from a base of ignorance and islam-skewed ideas

The promise was made by Hashem to Abraham that through him ALL the nations of the world would have salvation (Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18). As Hashem Elohim ALONE can grant salvation, in order for Abraham to do so it would mean that Hashem would have to become incarnate in Abraham’s bloodline and that is exactly what happened!

The essence of Hashem Word was placed supernaturally within the womb of Mary and the Lord God Jesus Christ was born, fully human and fully divine, called the hypostatic union, with a human nature and all its emotions, feelings and desires, as well as a divine nature. Because the bloodline curse is passed through the father’s bloodline to the children, Christ being born without a father was born sinless and by always subjugating His human nature to Hashem’s will He remained sinless throughout His life and ministry.

It was never in Hashem’s will or plan that the incarnate Messiah would come seeking worship and overtly proclaim His divinity! He was born to a Jewish family and both His parents knew who He was as they had been informed by the angel at His conception, Christ was raised a Jew and studied the Tanakh and had supernatural insight into the Word. As the human being He was He OBVIOUSLY worshiped Hashem Elohim like all the other Jews, His parents and siblings. Even though muslims are incapable of perceiving the Godhead, Christ had no problem as He was PART of the Godhead, yet His mission was NOT to be Hashem on Earth, but to point the Jews and all nations to Hashem and encourage the Jews to return to Him and the nations of the Earth to embrace Him. This was the central teaching of His Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven and He taught the SPIRIT of the Law and NOT the LETTER as did the Pharisees and scribes.

As much as it was NOT Hashem’s will for Him to overtly proclaim His divinity, Christ did however in many different ways covertly proclaim His divinity! The title by which He most often addressed Himself, the Son of man, was like a red rag to a bull to the Jews as they knew that THE Son of man was the prophesied Messiah to come, yet because of their sinful ways and being so far from Hashem they could not and did not recognise their Messiah in their midst and rejected Him, just as was prophesied would happen.

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Daniel 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Paul taught Christ’s gospel and as disparaging as Hameed is about Saul/Paul’s meeting with Christ on the Damascus road, the truth is Saul/Paul had a life-changing experience and was thereafter schooled supernaturally by Christ for three years. Consider verse 16 below and see that Paul was NOT schooled by the disciples nor any other humans and thus the inference is that the Spirit of Christ was his teacher.

Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
Galatians 1:14 And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
Galatians 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Galatians 1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
Galatians 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
Galatians 1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.

ALIVE IN CHRIST

Jesus

“For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes,” (John 5:21).

Paul

“For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive,” (1 Cor. 15:22).

ANXIETY

Jesus

“For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing?” (Matt. 6:25).

Paul

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God,” (Phil. 4:6).

ATONEMENT

Jesus

“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep,” (John 10:11)

Paul

“and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma,” (Eph. 5:2).

As there is limited space I could only post three topics here out of four pages of topics showing how Paul preached the SAME gospel as Christ!

Forgiveness in the Torah

When somebody living under the Torah sinned they were responsible for what they had done, but if they repented they could be forgiven by a sacrifice that would bear their sin before God. The Torah explains this:

He must bring as his offering for the sin he committed a female goat without defect. He is to lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering. Then the priest is to take some of the blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. He shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. In this way the priest will make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven. ” Leviticus 4:28-31, NIV

For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. ” Leviticus 17:11, NIV

The Torah teaches individual responsibility and forgiveness through a substitute sacrifice that bears our sin. That exactly was what Jesus did, He died in our stead. He was the sacrifice for the whole world sins on that cross.

In the book of the prophet Ezekiel we see this idea as well.

(The priests) will put the most holy offerings (there) ” the grain offerings, the sin offerings and the guilt offerings ” for the place is holy. ” Ezekiel 42:13, NIV

Therefore Muslims are not reading Deuteronomy 24:16 or Ezekiel 18:20 in their context (which is not news to me since that’s the only way for them to attack the Bible which by the way was confirmed by their own false prophet Muhammad to be authentic ” Qur’an 3:3). These verses are not saying there is no sacrifice that can bear our sin. Instead they are saying that we are individually responsible for our sins and need to seek forgiveness through God’s provision of a substitute sacrifice that can bear our sin. These verses do not support Islam at all; instead they confirm what Christianity teaches.

The blood of those animals, however, couldn’t permanently wash away sins; they could only cover their sins for a year, that’s why He offered His only begotten Son to shed His spotless, undefiled blood to be the ultimate sacrifice, not only for those who are under the Torah but also the whole world:

11. But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, 12. nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. 13. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh: 14. how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15. For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. 16. For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it. 17. For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives. 18. Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood. 19. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, 20. saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.” 21. Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood. 22. According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission. ” Hebrews 9:11-22, WEB

Forgiveness Without Retribution

1). Forgiveness Without Retribution Is The Mark Of An Unjust & Thereby False God

2). The One True God Is Perfectly Just & Holy – Hence There Are Consequences And Penalties For Sin

3). Jesus Offered Himself To Pay The Penalty For Our Sin In Full, Which Alone Satisfies God’S Demand For Retributive Justice

Four Arabic Words Every Infidel Must Know

In 539 BC, King Belshazzar of Babylon saw a dismembered hand-written four prophetic words on the wall. This “handwriting on the wall” was finally interpreted by the prophet Daniel as predicting the fall of the kingdom. He was right. Babylon fell to the Medes-Persians that very night. Like the “handwriting on the wall” that Prophet Daniel had interpreted, there are four Arabic words, which could lead to submission of the entire world to Islam, if non-Muslims do not fully understand their meaning and implications. Those words are taqiyya, tawriya, kitman and muruna. Each of these words describes a different style of deception used by Muslims when discussing Islam or their activities as Muslims.
Mohammed famously said, “War is deceit.” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 52,
Nr.268).

The Koran boasts that Allah is the “master of all scheming” (Koran 13:42) and that he is “profound in his machinations” (Koran 8:30). Western civilizations are not accustomed to dealing with people, who have developed deception into an art form. Knowledge is power, and the best way to combat the Islamist agenda is to say, “We are used to your lying. Knock it off!”

TAQIYYA

Taqiyya is defined as dissimulation about one’s Muslim identity. It comes from the verse in the Koran that says, “Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful – he that does has nothing to hope for from Allah – except in self-defence (illaan tattaqoo minhum tuqatan (Koran 3:28). This “self-defence” justifies dissimulation. Islamic Sharia Law provides, “When it is possible to achieve an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible, and lying is obligatory if the goal is obligatory.”

Reliance of the Traveller Section r8.2 PERMISSIBLE LYING. The Prophet said: “He who settles disagreements between people to bring about good or says something commendable is not a liar”). Examples include lying to protect Islam or a Muslim.

TAWRIYA

Tawriya is defined as concealing, and it could be called “creative lying” or
where appropriate “lying under oath”. It is OK to break the intent of the oath, as long as you don’t break the letter of the oath). This includes the expression “in sha’ Allah” (“If Allah will”), before finishing the oath, then the oath is not broken in any event if he thereby intends to provide for exceptions.

How does this work? Suppose someone protests that Surah 1 of the Koran demeans Christians and Jews, because it is a supplication Muslims make to Allah seventeen times a day to keep them from the path of “those with whom God is angry” and “those who have lost their way”. A Muslim might respond, “Surah 1 never mentions Jews or Christians.” He is practicing tawriya, because while Surah 1 does not mention Jews and Christians by name, but he knows full-well that the words “those” refer to Jews and Christians.

Another example would be when a Muslim responds to your greeting of “Merry Christmas!” He might say, “I wish you the best.” In your mind, you think he has returned a Christmas greeting. In actuality, he has expressed his wish for you to convert to Islam; he wishes the best for you which, in his view, is becoming a Muslim.

KITMAN

Kitman is characterised by someone telling only part of the truth. The most common example of this is when a Muslim says that jihad really refers to an internal, spiritual struggle. He is not telling “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”, as witnesses are sworn to do in US courts. Often, kitman results in a gross distortion of the truth. In the example given, the Koran uses jihad and its derivatives 59 times. Of those, only 16 (27%) could be considered “internal” with no object as the target of the struggle based on the context of the surah.

Another common form of kitman is to quote only the few peaceful passages from the Koran, knowing full-well that that passage was later abrogated by a more militant, contradictory verse.

“Are they seeking a religion other than Allah’s, when every soul in the heavens and earth has submitted to Him, willingly or by compulsion?” (Koran 3:83)

Another example: “Permission to take up arms is hereby given to those who are attacked, because they have been wronged.” (Koran 22:39)

“When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them and lie in ambush everywhere for them.” (Koran 9:5)

And another example: „Anyone who kills a human being… it shall be as though he has killed all mankind. …If anyone saves a life, it shall be as though he has saved the lives of all mankind…“ (Koran 5:32)

“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah… that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned;” (Koran 5:33)

MURUNA

Muruna means using “flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings. The justification for this kind of deception is a somewhat bizarre interpretation of Koran 2:106, which says, “If we abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, we will replace it by a better one or similar.”

Thus, Muslims may forget some of the commands in the Koran, as long as they are pursuing a better command. Muslims striving to advance Islam, therefore, can deviate from their Islamic laws in order to cause non-Muslims to lower their guard and place their trust in their Muslim counterpart.

At times, Muslims practice muruna in the same way a chameleon changes colours to avoid detection. Muslims will sometimes shave off their beards, wear western clothing, or even drink alcohol to blend in with non-Muslims. Nothing is more valuable these days to the Islamists than a blue-eyed Caucasian Muslim willing to engage in terrorism.

Another common way of using muruna is for a Muslim to marry a non-Muslim or to behave like a non-Muslim so their true agenda will not be suspected.

The 9/11 hijackers visited strip clubs and bars during their off-times while taking classes in the U.S. to fly airplanes into the World Trade Centre, the Pentagon and the White House. Many Americans believe Hillary Clinton’s aide, Huma Abedin, married Jewish Congressman Anthony Weiner at least in part to burnish her security credentials so she could infiltrate the highest levels of the Administration.

Another example of playing muruna to perfection is Mosab Hassan Yousef, “The Son of Hamas”, the son of a jailed Hamas terrorist leader and MP, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, the most popular figure in that extremist Islamic organisation. Mosab, as a young man, assisted his father for years in his political activities. He converted to Christianity and operated under cover in the service of Israel’s intelligence agency for a decade.

Yousef reveals this information in his book, ‘Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices’.

Mosab however, did not convert to what the West would recognize as Christianity, but to a fiery, Palestinian brand of the faith that is vehemently anti-Israel.
According to Mosab, his main goal in coming to the USA is to infiltrate the main source of international support for Israel: the American church. From an interview with Al-Arabiya: “During my tours in universities and even churches, [I found] the real support for Israel stems from the church in the West….. We need to understand the difference between “revenge” and “resistance” and once the Palestinians do, we will have our victory against Israel.”

Hopefully, this article will be a wake-up call to the unsuspecting infidels.
Trust but verify – as was an old American strategy in dealing with potentially hostile parties – is the way to go in dealing with Islamists.

Fruit

A good tree can only bear good fruit; a bad tree can only bear bad fruit. The Lord Jesus appealed in Matthew 15:13, ‘every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted’.

It is clear that God can never plant a bad tree; therefore, only a good tree can come from Him.

A person who represents a bad tree can never truly prevail, no matter what they try to do. They can take part in many purposes in the church and campaigns after campaigns, but if they are a bad tree they will never find the abundant life that God promises. On the other hand, a person who is a good tree can never beshaken. God will prune them, so that they will bear much more fruit; they will prosper and continue to develop.

A person who is a bad tree could even conquer material blessings by the strength of their own hands, but they will never be happy; they will never have peace or be satisfied within themselves because they only produce fruit of unrighteousness and fruit of disobedience.

Human beings were created to worship and glorify God, and if we are not doing what we were created to do, we can never be satisfied.

The Lord Jesus also said that every tree that does not bear good fruit, would be cut down and thrown into the fire. This is the end result for those who continue to bear fruit of unrighteousness and fruit of disobedience. But for those who bear fruit of righteousness and fruit of obedience, everything shall be well with them. They will face battles along the way, but they will continue to grow and to develop.

Gabriel is not the Holy Spirit

No where in the Bible does it say that the Holy Spirit is Gabriel, but it says in a number of places that the Holy Spirit is part of Godhead

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

In addition, Jesus talked of the Comforter

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Compare these items to those that mention Gabriel:

Luke 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Luke 1:26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
Daniel 8:15 ¶ And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. 16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
Bottom line – there are all sorts of references to the Holy Spirit as part of the trinity Godhead and part of God, and there are no references to the Holy Spirit being an angel. On the other hand, Gabriel is no doubt an angel, and appears as an entity that is separate from God and bears messages from God.

Galations 5- circumcision

Why don’t you quote the whole message so the meaning is not messed up – are you trying to be deceptive

Galations 5 verse 1-6

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

2 Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. 3 I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. 4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

Genealogy – At the beginning of Matthew’s Gospel

At the beginning of Matthew’s Gospel, the precisely conceived genealogical scheme of 3 tables of 14 generations falls short by one generation in the third table. This shortfall was intended by Matthew as a puzzle that the conclusion of the narrative resolves with the appearance of Jesus as the resurrected Christ with the 11 disciples, newly designated as his “brothers.” If “Judah and his brothers” in the first table of the genealogy represent Israel in its original constitution and “Jeconiah and his brothers” represent Israel in its experience of national judgment and dissolution, the depiction of the Twelve as the resurrected Christ and his brothers at the end of the narrative represents Israel in its reconstitution. Part of Matthew’s literary genius is evident in the fact that he uses a genealogy to launch an argument that the identity of this people has never simply been a matter of ancestry. The missing generation at the end of the genealogy poses a question explored throughout the narrative but not fully resolved until the end of the Gospel.
