HOw to refute People who say Christians started Slavery

1) Ask him for how long did Slavery last in Africa? He will ignorantly say about 400 years, tell him to the face that he is lying, slavery was begun by Arabs in East Africa as early as 652 AD and lasted for 1390 years…It’s still ongoing in some forms in the Islamic world till now. European slave ships didn’t arrive in Africa till the 14th century and lasted for just 300 years. Arab slavery predated European slave trade by more than 900 and lasted for extra 370 years after the white man abolished slavery from its lands.

2) Ask him how was slavery eventually abolished and outlawed, he will have no answer. Educate him that Christians missionaries led by William Wilberforce and many others fought and fought, charterd ships to roam the high seas to intercept slave ships and free the slaves.

3) Mention a couple of Christian missionaries names to him and challenge him to show you any historical evidence that shows any of them were involved in slavery? He can’t give a single evidence.

4) Ask him to show you a single African traditional government that stood or fought against slave trade, he can’t mention a single one.

5) Ask him whether he is aware Arab Muslims enslaved and castrated hundreds of millions of Africans, he will be confused, show him the evidence.

6) Ask him whether he is aware Europeans didn’t even bring Christianity to Africa, the first officially declared Christian country in the 1st century was Ethiopia an African country, he will this time be dumb.

7) Ask him whether he is aware had it not been Christian missionaries, Africans themselves and Arab Muslims would have still been enslaving and castrating blacks in 2019? He will be confused, show him evidence of black slaves in Yemen,Saudi Arabia and Mauritania in 2019.

Please use this knowledge, you will save a soul from anti Christian deception.
Thank you.

How was Jesus called by the name Immanuel if that wasnt His name

How was Jesus called by the name Immanuel if that wasn’t His name?

Isaiah 7:14 predicted, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold,
the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” In
the New Testament, Matthew 1:22-23 confirms that the birth of Jesus fulfilled
this important prophecy, stating, “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord
had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel’ (which means, God with us).” Some have
wondered why Jesus was not named Immanuel instead. Why wouldn’t He have been
called by the name Immanuel?

The first reason is found in the name Immanuel. It means “God with us.” The
prediction by Isaiah was in reference to who the Messiah would be, not
necessarily what He would be physically named. Jesus came to live as God in
human form.

Second, Immanuel was only one of many names used in reference to Jesus. In fact,
Isaiah 9:6 also taught, “his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty
God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Each of these names reveals important
information regarding the nature and work of the Messiah. However, Jesus was not
called these names during His early life. He was simply known as Jesus.

Third, the angel who appeared to Mary commanded her to name Him Jesus, not
Immanuel: “you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his
name Jesus” (Luke 1:31). An angel also appeared to Joseph, saying, “She will
bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from
their sins” (Matthew 1:21). This dream was noted as a fulfillment of the name
Immanuel as predicted by Isaiah (Matthew 1:22-24).

The title and prediction of Immanuel served as an important part of Jesus’
coming. John 1:14 teaches, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Jesus
(the Word, who is God; see John 1:1) took on human form and lived among people,
just as the meaning of the title Immanuel indicates.

The apostle Paul used this profound characteristic of Jesus to teach early
believers as well. In Philippians 2:5-8 we read, “Have this mind among
yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of
God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself,
by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being
found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of
death, even death on a cross.”

Immanuel was not the name Jesus was known by on earth, but instead served as a title and description of Jesus’ role as the Messiah as God with us. This important biblical concept has profound implications for all who follow Jesus today.

How were people saved before Jesus died for our sins

Question: “How were people saved before Jesus died for our sins?”

Answer: Since the fall of man, the basis of salvation has always been the death of Christ. No one, either prior to the cross or since the cross, would ever be saved without that one pivotal event in the history of the world. Christ’s death paid the penalty for past sins of Old Testament saints and future sins of New Testament saints.

The requirement for salvation has always been faith. The object of one’s faith for salvation has always been God. The psalmist wrote, “Blessed are all who take refuge in him” (Psalm 2:12). Genesis 15:6 tells us that Abraham believed God and that was enough for God to credit it to him for righteousness (see also Romans 4:3-8). The Old Testament sacrificial system did not take away sin, as Hebrews 10:1-10 clearly teaches. It did, however, point to the day when the Son of God would shed His blood for the sinful human race.

What has changed through the ages is the content of a believer’s faith. God’s requirement of what must be believed is based on the amount of revelation He has given mankind up to that time. This is called progressive revelation. Adam believed the promise God gave in Genesis 3:15 that the Seed of the woman would conquer Satan. Adam believed Him, demonstrated by the name he gave Eve (v. 20) and the Lord indicated His acceptance immediately by covering them with coats of skin (v. 21). At that point that is all Adam knew, but he believed it.

Abraham believed God according to the promises and new revelation God gave him in Genesis 12 and 15. Prior to Moses, no Scripture was written, but mankind was responsible for what God had revealed. Throughout the Old Testament, believers came to salvation because they believed that God would someday take care of their sin problem. Today, we look back, believing that He has already taken care of our sins on the cross (John 3:16; Hebrews 9:28).

What about believers in Christ’s day, prior to the cross and resurrection? What did they believe? Did they understand the full picture of Christ dying on a cross for their sins? Late in His ministry, “Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life” (Matthew 16:21-22). What was the reaction of His disciples to this message? “Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. ‘Never, Lord!’ he said. ‘This shall never happen to you!'” Peter and the other disciples did not know the full truth, yet they were saved because they believed that God would take care of their sin problem. They didn’t exactly know how He would accomplish that, any more than Adam, Abraham, Moses, or David knew how, but they believed God.

Today, we have more revelation than the people living before the resurrection of Christ; we know the full picture. “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe” (Hebrews 1:1-2). Our salvation is still based on the death of Christ, our faith is still the requirement for salvation, and the object of our faith is still God. Today, for us, the content of our faith is that Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

How Yeshua Became Jesus

How Yeshua Became Jesus
by Lex Meyer

Did you know that the name “Jesus” is less than 400 years old? Where did this name come from, and what was the original name of our Messiah?

In the Bible, names have significant meanings. For example, the name Abram means “exalted father”, but the name Abraham means “father of a multitude”. This is why God changed his name from Abram to Abraham saying,

“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.”
Genesis 17:5
Likewise, the name of our Messiah has significant meaning. When the Angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph about his son, he told Joseph what to name the child, saying,

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Yeshua, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21
This is significant, because the name “Yeshua” means “salvation”. The Angel was basically saying, “call Him Salvation, because he will save His people from their sins.”

So, where did the name “Jesus” come from?

When His name was translated into Greek, it became Iesous. The “Ie” represents the “Ye” sound, the “s” represents the “sh” sound, and the “ou” represents the “ua” sound. But, why did they add the “s” to the end of His name?

The Greek language has certain rules about nouns that indicate case, number, and gender by their spelling. This means the same word can have different spelling depending on its use as subject or object in a sentence. For example, Iesous is in the nominative case, while Iesou is in the genitive case.

The spelling of the name “Jesus” has been in use for less than 400 years. This can easily be seen in the fact that the 1611 King James Version of the Bible still spelled His name “Iesous”, not “Jesus”. The name Iesous was used in Greek, Latin, and English until the 17th century, when the letter “J” was introduced as a replacement for the letter “I” when used as a consonant. However, it was still pronounced “Yea-soos” for many years before it eventually took on the “g” sound that we know today in the word “Jesus”. This means the pronunciation of the name “Jesus” is a very recent development in the English language.

It is also interesting to note that if His name was directly translated from Hebrew into English, it would be Joshua, because the Joshua of the Old Testament and the Jesus of the New Testament are the same name in both Hebrew and Greek. We can clearly see this in the book of Acts, when Joshua is referenced in the book of Acts, his name in Greek is identical to the name of Jesus in Greek. Likewise, in the Septuagint (the Greek version of the Old Testament), Joshua’s name is also translated into Greek as “Iesous”. In fact, if you look up the name Iesous in the Strong’s Concordance, it will tell you that Iesous is the Greek form of the name Joshua.

So, if Joshua and Jesus share the same Hebrew and Greek names, why do they have different English names? Some people assume there is a great conspiracy involved in why the names are different, however, it is a very simple reason. When the Old Testament Hebrew text was translated into English, they phonetically translated “Yehoshua” as “Joshua”, and when they translated the Greek New Testament into English, they phonetically translated “Iesous” as “Jesus”, with one exception, when “Iesous” referred to Joshua son of Nun the translators chose to continue using the name Joshua to avoid confusion.

I have heard some pretty ridiculous theories about the name “Jesus”. For example, some people claim that the name “Jesus” really means “hail Zeus”, which is simply untrue and proves they are unfamiliar with the Greek language. They make this claim because the words “Jesus” and “Zeus” have similar sounding pronunciation in English. However, in Greek, there are no connections between these two names, except that they both end with an “s” sound. If you compare the two names in Greek, you will see that they have nothing in common. The name Zeus is spelled “ιό, in Greek, while the name Jesus is spelled Ἰησοῦ, in Greek.

Some people also claim that His name was changed to Jesus to hide the fact that He was a Jew, since Jesus is based on a Greek name rather than a Hebrew name. While it is possible that there might be some truth to this claim, it is pretty far fetched to think that it was some grand conspiracy to hide the Jewishness of Jesus, since the Bible clearly tells us that Jesus was Jewish.

“For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.”
Hebrews 7:14
Likewise, the Gospels contain some pretty extensive genealogies that trace the Jewish lineage of Jesus back to a number of Old Testament Jewish people including Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David.

Unfortunately, despite these facts, some people remain unaware of the fact that Jesus was Jewish. However, I think it has less to do with the pronunciation of His name, and more to do with these people not knowing what the Scriptures say about Him.

Is it wrong to call Him “Jesus”?

I do not think there is anything wrong with using the name “Jesus”, but in the Bible, names have meaning, and the name Yeshua means “salvation”. Yet the Greek, Latin, and English translations do not carry any meaning since they are phonetically created words that did not exist otherwise.

I prefer to call Him by His Hebrew name Yeshua, because it has such powerful meaning and significance. He is salvation and His name IS Salvation! But I am by no means a “sacred namer”, and I want you to know that it does not bother me if you prefer to use the name “Jesus”, because I know who you are talking about, and He knows who you are talking about too.

Unfortunately, some people treat His name as if it were a magic word. They seem to think if you pronounce His name a certain way your prayers will be answered, but if you don’t say it just right your prayers will be ignored. I have even heard people argue that you must pronounce His name a certain way if you want to be saved. Let me just say, that is not the way His name should be treated. Our God is not so petty that He would reject someone for using the “wrong” name.

Languages change over time, pronunciation changes from one location to another. We can see some pretty vast differences just within the English language. If you took people from London, New Jersey, Louisiana and Australia and placed them all in the same room, you would immediately notice how differently they all speak the same language. They are all speaking English, but which one is speaking the “right” English? This is a good example of why fighting over pronunciation is unprofitable. Placing so much emphasis on a certain pronunciation of His name is like the person in New Jersey telling the person from Australia that they are not speaking English correctly. It is more important that we understand the meaning of words than it is to have the correct pronunciation of them.

I hope this teaching has helped to clear up some of the confusion about the name Jesus, and I hope it has given you a better understanding about how His name was translated from Yeshua to Jesus.

His coming was prophesied in the Torah

Jesus is God and has the right to do anything he want. His coming was prophesied in the Torah.

The Jewish Torah Prophesied About Jesus Christ!

The Jewish Torah, as many people know include the first five books of the Old Testament (Covenant), which are also found in the Christian Bible. These five books are sometimes called the five books of Moses, or the Pentateuch. One of those books is the book of Deuteronomy, which contains an amazing prophecy, spoken by the Lord, through Moses about the coming of a prophet. Here are three verses from chapter eighteen of the book of Deuteronomy:

The LORD thy GOD will raise up unto thee a PROPHET from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto HIM ye shall hearken; (Deuteronomy 18:15)

I will raise them up a PROPHET from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will PUT MY WORDS IN HIS MOUTH; and HE shall speak unto them ALL THAT I SHALL COMMAND HIM. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will NOT hearken unto MY WORDS which HE SHALL SPEAK IN MY NAME, I WILL REQUIRE IT OF HIM. (Deuteronomy 18:18-19)

Who is this prophet that Moses was talking about? The answer can be found in the New Testament book of Acts. In this next passage of scripture, Peter, the Jewish apostle of Jesus Christ is speaking to the people of Israel, after a mighty miracle of healing which had taken place before their very eyes. Lets pick it up right there:

And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of ISRAEL, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The GOD of ABRAHAM, and of ISAAC, and of JACOB, the GOD of our fathers, hath glorified his Son JESUS; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; And KILLED the Prince of life, whom GOD hath RAISED from the DEAD; whereof we are witnesses. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. But those things, which GOD before had shewed by the mouth of ALL HIS PROPHETS, that CHRIST should suffer, he hath so FULFILLED. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the LORD; And he shall send JESUS CHRIST, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which GOD hath spoken by the mouth of ALL HIS HOLY PROPHETS since the world began. (Acts 3:12-21)

Peter told the people that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of their fathers had glorified His Son Jesus through that healing miracle. Peter went on to tell them that they had killed him (Jesus, the Prince of life), but that God had raised that same Jesus from the dead. Not only that, but Peter told the people of Israel that they were witnesses to his (Jesus) being raised from the dead! Peter then went on to tell the people that it was by simple faith that this man was healed before them all. Peter told the Jewish people that he knew that they put Christ to death through ignorance, but that the prophets of old had prophesied that very thing. Peter then told the people to repent and be converted, that their sins might be blotted out. This shows us the awesome mercy of God, toward all people including the very people who put Christ to death.

Now catch this! Here is the connection between the Jewish Torah, and the New Testament. Listen to what the Jewish apostle Peter tells the people of Israel:

For MOSES truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the LORD your GOD raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be DESTROYED from among the people. Yea, and ALL THE PROPHETS from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the COVENANT which GOD made with our fathers, saying unto ABRAHAM, And in thy seed shall ALL the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first GOD, having raised up his Son JESUS, sent him to BLESS YOU, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. (Acts 3:22-26)

Did you catch that? Peter told the people of Israel that Moses spoke about a prophet whom God was going to raise up, and he was speaking about Jesus Christ. Peter was referring to that very prophecy from the book of Deuteronomy, which I quoted at the beginning of this article. What did Peter say would happen to those who would not “hear that prophet” (listen to him)? They would be destroyed, from among the people! Not only that but Peter referred to his listeners as “children of the prophets” after telling them that the prophets had foretold of the very days of which they were then living! Peter was basically telling them that the prophets were in FULL agreement with what he was telling them about Christ!

Now to ABRAHAM and his SEED were the promises made. He saith NOT, And to SEEDS, as of many; but as of ONE, And to thy SEED, which is CHRIST. (Galatians 3:16)

The promised “seed” (descendant) who was promised to father Abraham was none other than the person of Jesus Christ.

There is neither JEW nor GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all ONE in CHRIST (MESSIAH) JESUS. And IF ye be CHRIST’S, THEN are ye ABRAHAM’S SEED, and heirs according to the PROMISE.(Galatians 3:28-29)

There is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile (non-Jewish) according to the scriptures. Any person from any part of the world is offered salvation in the person of Jesus Christ. Those who choose to refuse Christ, will be destroyed even as the scriptures tell us. Ultimately that fits in with what Jesus Christ said after He rose from the dead.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that BELIEVETH and is baptized shall be SAVED; but he that BELIEVETH NOT shall be DAMNED. (Mark 16:15-16)

The beauty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that it is offered to every person in the entire world, and there is still only one way and one name to be saved.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of ISRAEL, that by the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, WHOM YE CRUCIFIED, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there SALVATION in any other: for there is NONE other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED. (Acts 4:10-12)

The Quran Disqualifies Muhammad As A Prophet Of The True God

There are way too many compelling reasons to invalidate Muhammad’s claim as a prophet of the true God. However, since the lives of more than a billion Muslims are at stake because of their erroneous believe that Muhammad is a prophet of God, we will use the Qur’an itself to prove why Muhammad simply cannot be a true prophet. It may come as a shocking surprise for Muslims to learn that both the Holy Bible and the Qur’an disqualify Muhammad as a prophet of the true God. Vital evidences will be provided in this article to show as to why according to the Qur’an itself, he simply cannot be a prophet of the true God. A prophet of the God of Abraham, he certainly is not. Consider now the evidences.

Centuries before the Qur’an came into existence, the Holy Bible speaks of the Covenant of Jehovah with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob:

Exodus 2:24-25: “…and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So God looked on the sons of Israel and God took notice.”

2 Kings 13:23: “But Jehovah was gracious unto them and had compassion upon them and turned to them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

Psalms 105:7-10: “He is Jehovah our God. His judgement are in all the earth. He has remembered his covenant even forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, the covenant which he concluded with Abraham, And his sworn statement to Isaac, And which statement he kept standing as a statue even to Jacob, As an everlasting covenant to Israel.”

In harmony with the above stated Covenant, Surah 29:27 affirms that the Prophethood will remain in the lineage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Given below are four different translations of Surah 29:27.

Surah 29:27: And (as for Abraham), We bestowed upon him Isaac and (Isaac’s son) Jacob, and caused prophethood and revelation to continue among his offspring. (Asad)

And We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, and We established the prophethood and the Scripture among his seed. (Pickthall)

And We granted him Ishaq and Yaqoub, and caused the prophethood and the book to remain in his seed. (Shakir)

And We bestowed Ishaq and Yaqub to him, and kept the Prophethood and the Book among his descendants. (Faridul Haque)

Surah 29:27 mentions that Prophethood and Scriptures came uniquely through the seed of Isaac and Jacob. It speaks of the prophetic office as having been entrusted to Isaac and Jacob and their descendants. And Allah also declared in the above Qur’anic verse, that the prophethood would “remain” in the lineage of Isaac and Jacob. In other words, anyone claiming to be a prophet of God must be born in the Prophetic Race.

Since the Qur’an states that prophethood belongs exclusively to the lineage of Isaac and Jacob, we must then ask whether Muhammad was born in the line of the prophets. In other words, was he born in the Prophetic Race? Muslims scholars claim that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael. But Ishmael is entirely excluded in the prophetical line in Surah 29:27. If Allah intends to include Ishmael, his name would be placed before Isaac, as he was older than Isaac by fourteen years. But as it can be noted, Surah 29:27 completely omits any reference to Ishmael, raising the question as to why he was totally ignored if he was as important as Muslims claim him to be. Thus, the Qur’an clearly teaches that the prophetic line came through Isaac – not Ishmael.

If Muhammad is a descendant of Ishmael, then he cannot be a descendant of Isaac at the same time, given the fact that Ishmael and Isaac are half-brothers. Thus, it is evident that Muhammad is not a descendant of Isaac. As Muhammad was neither a Jew nor a descendant of Isaac and Jacob, this automatically disqualifies him as a prophet of God.

Since according to both the Bible and the Qur’an, all the true prophets came in the line of Abraham through Isaac, then Muhammad cannot be a prophet of the true God. In fact, this is in harmony with the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham in Genesis 17:21.

Genesis 17:21: “However, my covenant I shall establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this appointed time next year.”

If Ishmael rather than Isaac was chosen or included in the origin of the prophets, why was there only one alleged prophet from the line of Ishmael? Guess who that lone prophet was? Yes, it was Muhammad – a non-Israelite. The rest – Moses, Samuel, Nathan, Elijah, Elisha, Hosea, Amos, Isaiah, Jonah, Joel, Jesus and many others – were all Israelites. All these prophets were descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob just as it is sworn in Surah 29:27. Why did all these prophets come from the line of Isaac, with the exception of Muhammad who descended from Ishmael? Why was Ishmael’s name left out at the most significant moment when the Qur’an revealed the lineage of the prophethood? Did not Allah know that his greatest prophet would be born through the lineage of Ishmael? The following Surahs also concur with Surah 29:27.

Surah 45:16: And verily We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture and the Command and the Prophethood, and provided them with good things and favoured them above all peoples. (Pickthall)

Surah 2:47: “O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you and how I preferred you to (all) creatures.” (Pickthall)

Further evidences in the Qur’an alluding to the fact that the prophethood belongs solely to the line of Isaac and Jacob are provided below:

Surah 19:49: So, when he had withdrawn from them and that which they were worshipping beside Allah. We gave him Isaac and Jacob. Each of them We made a Prophet. (Pickthall)

Surah 21:72-73: And We bestowed upon him Isaac, and Jacob as a grandson. Each of them We made righteous. And We made them chiefs who guide by Our command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds and the right establishment of worship and the giving of alms and they were worshippers of Us (alone). (Pickthall)

Once again, we can note that Ishmael is not mention in the above Qur’anic verses, whereas recognition is given to both Isaac and Jacob. Why did not Allah include Ishmael in these verses since Muslims claim that he is also a prophet of Allah? The Qur’an states that God gave Abraham a son and a grandson to live with him and made them both prophets. These two are the only ones mentioned as God’s gift to Abraham. While the Qur’an states that the Prophethood will come from Abraham, at the same instant, it consistently states that it will be through Isaac and Jacob. Thus, they are the roots – the ancestry from which the race of the prophets sprang. Hence, as far as Allah and the Qur’an are concerned, the only true prophets are those who are the descendants of Isaac or Jacob. There is an account concerning Joseph in the Qur’an that may be appropriate to be included here. Notice again the exclusion of Ishmael.

Surah 12:38: “And I (Joseph) have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It never was for us to attribute aught as partner to Allah. This is of the bounty of Allah unto us (the seed of Abraham) and unto mankind; but most men give not thanks.” (Pickthall)

The genealogy of Jesus going back all the way to Abraham is clearly recorded in the Holy Bible in Matthew 1:1-17:

The book of the history of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham: Abraham became father to Isaac; Isaac became father to Jacob; Jacob became father to Judah and his brothers; Judah became father to Perez and to Zerah by Tamar; Perez became father to Hezron; Hezron became father to Ram; Ram became father to Amminadab; Amminadab became father to Nahshon; Nahshon became father to Salmon; Salmon became father to Boaz by Rahab; Boaz became father to Obed by Ruth; Obed became father to Jesse; Jesse became father to David the king. David became father to Solomon by the wife of Uriah; Solomon became father to Rehoboam; Rehoboam became father to Abijah; Abijah became father to Asa; Asa became father to Jehoshaphat; Jehoshaphat became father to Jehoram; Jehoram became father to Uzziah; Uzziah became father to Jotham; Jotham became father to Ahaz; Ahaz became father to Hezekiah; Hezekiah became father to Manasseh; Manasseh became father to Amon; Amon became father to Josiah; Josiah became father to Jeconiah and to his brothers at the time of the deportation to Babylon. After the deportation to Babylon Jeconiah became father to Shealtiel; Shealtiel became father to Zerubbabel; Zerubabel became father to Abiud; Abiud became father to Eliakim; Eliakim became father to Azor; Azor became father to Zadok; Zadok became father to Achim; Achim became father to Eliud; Eliud became father to Eleazar; Eleazar became father to Matthan; Matthan became father to Jacob; Jacob became father to Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ. All the generations, then, from Abraham until David were fourteen generations, and from David until the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon until the Christ fourteen generations.

Although Joseph is not the biological father of Jesus, Joseph, as the foster father of Jesus, certified the ancestry of Jesus from a legal perspective, whereas Mary his mother qualifies him from the biological position. Thus, Jesus was a descendant of Abraham both legally and biologically. While Jesus was clearly a descendant of Abraham through the lineage of Isaac and Jacob, Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael. Islam destroys its credibility by admitting that Muhammad did not come from the lineage of Isaac and Jacob – the Prophetic Race. Moreover, where is the genealogy of Muhammad in the Qur’an to link him to the religion of Abraham?

All true prophets of God must establish who they are. Every single one of the true prophets who were descendants of Isaac and Jacob came from families who were already worshippers of the true God. They all worshipped the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. As for Muhammad, his parents were Arab pagans and so were his grandparents. Additionally, Muhammad himself was a pagan until the time of his alleged “calling as a prophet” by Allah. Is it not strange that after choosing every single one of His prophets from families who were already true believers, God would now choose a pagan worshipper who came from a pagan family as his prophet? We do not think so. That is why it should not surprise us to find many pagan rituals in the religion of Islam. Muhammad incorporated them into the religion of Allah. Therefore, to accept Islam is to accept paganism and its lone stone-kissing prophet. And as the Qur’an itself testifies clearly in Surah 29:27, Muhammad simply cannot be a prophet of the true God.

Galatians 4:22-28: It is written that Abraham acquired two sons, one by the slave woman and one by the free woman; but the one by the slave woman was actually born in the manner of flesh, the other by the free woman through a promise…Now we, brothers, are children belonging to the promise the same as Isaac was.

WHAT IS THE “SEAL OF THE PROPHET”?

The Qur’an says that Muhammad is the “Seal of the Prophets” in the following verse:

Surah 33:40: “Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets.” (Pickthall)

Muslims use this verse to prove that Muhammad was the last in a series of prophets and that he was the culmination of the prophethood. However, the Hadith literature makes it very clear that when the Qur’an refers to the “Seal of the Prophets” being upon Muhammad, it refers to a large mole on his back.

It is simply beyond reason how the superstitious belief that people with notable physical abnormalities were chosen by God can be used as one of the evidences to validate Muhammad as the “Seal of the Prophets.” This proves that Islam came out of paganism and not from the true Abrahamic faith. Islam’s own references provide us with evidences of this fact.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 189:

Narrated By As Saib bin Yazid: My aunt took me to the Prophet and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! This son of my sister has got a disease in his legs.” So he passed his hands on my head and prayed for Allah’s blessings for me; then he performed ablution and I drank from the remaining water. I stood behind him and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the “Zir-al-Hijla” (means the button of a small tent, but some said ‘egg of a partridge.’ etc.)

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 70, Number 574:

Narrated By As-Sa’ib: My aunt took me to Allah’s Apostle and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! My nephew is- ill.” The Prophet touched my head with his hand and invoked Allah to bless me. He then performed ablution and I drank of the remaining water of his ablution and then stood behind his back and saw “Khatam An-Nubuwwa” (The Seal of Prophethood) between his shoulders like a button of a tent.

Sahih Muslim is the second greatest work on the Hadith after Sahih Bukhari. It records the following:

THE FACT PERTAINING TO THE SEAL OF HIS PROPHETHOOD, ITS CHARACTERISTIC FEATURE, AND ITS LOCATION ON HIS BODY

Sahih Muslim, Book 30, Number 5790:

Jabir b. Samura reported: I saw the seal on his back as if it were a pigeon’s egg.

Sahih Muslim, Book 30, Number 5793:

Abdullah b. Sarjis reported: I saw Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) and ate with him bread and meat, or he said Tharid (bread soaked in soup). I said to him: Did Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) seek forgiveness for you? He said: Yes, and for you, and he then recited this verse: “Ask forgiveness for thy sin and for the believing men and believing women” (xlvii. 19). I then went after him and saw the Seal of Prophethood between his shoulders on the left side of his shoulder having spots on it like moles.

And other well-known Hadiths support the above Islamic documentations.

Sunan of Abu Dawud, Book 32, Number 4071:

Narrated Qurrah ibn Iyas al-Muzani: “I came to the Apostle of Allah (pbuh) with a company of Muzaynah and we swore allegiance to him. The buttons of his shirt were open. I swore allegiance to him and I put my hand inside the collar of his shirt and felt the seal…”

Tarikh (History of) al-Tabari:

“….When Bahira saw this, he descended from his cell and sent the caravan a message inviting them all…. Finally he looked at Muhammad’s back, and saw the seal of prophethood between his shoulders….He replied….“I also recognize him by the seal of prophethood which is below the cartilage of his shoulders and which is like an apple.” (The History of al-Tabari: Muhammad at Mecca, translated and annotated by W. Montgomery Watt and M. V. McDonald, Volume VI, pp. 45, 46)

This same lying monk (Bahira) also said that he had seen the stones and the trees prostrating to Muhammad as he walked by. Muslims believe these incredible tales without wondering why many of the Arabs refused to accept Muhammad when he called them to Islam. Eventually, it was not the stones or the trees or the mole but the sword of Islam that converted these pagan Arabs.

Ibn Sa’d (A.H. 168-230), Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir:

‘Abd Allah Ibn Ja’far al-Raqqi informed us on the authority of ‘Ubayd Allah Ibn ‘Amr, he on the authority of ‘Abd al-Malik Ibn ‘Umayr, he on the authority of Iyad Ibn Laqit, he on the authority of Abu Rimthah; he said: I went to the Prophet, may Allah bless him, and a son of mine was with me. Then I said: O my son! This is the Prophet of Allah. When he (son) saw him, he began to tremble, out of reverence. When I arrived, I said, “O Apostle of Allah! I am a physician and belong to the family of physicians. My father was a noted physician during the Jahiliyyah (pre-Muhammad times) days; we are famous as physicians. So permit me (to treat) what is between your shoulders. If it is a wound, I shall operate on it and Allah will cure His Prophet.” Thereupon he said: There is no physician for it except Allah. It was like the egg of a dove. (Translated by S.M. Haq & H.K. Ghazanfar, Kitab Bhavan, New Delhi, India, 1972, Vol I (part 2), p. 503-506.)

The “Seal of Prophets” turns out to be a physical deformity that needed medical treatment. However, the vast majority of Muhammad’s uneducated and superstitious followers believed it was a miraculous Seal of Muhammad’s prophethood. Muhammad took advantage of their ignorance and did not allow it to be removed.

Imagine, this large mole is the physical proof that Islam provides to claim that Muhammad was the Seal of the Prophets. It is simply beyond logic how this is supposed to be one of the proofs that is used by Muslims to convince people of Muhammad’s prophethood. Such ideas that give significance to moles can be found in the teachings of many pagan religions. Pagan teachings consider moles as significations of fate and reflections of the personality of an individual. They also believe that moles reveal the nature and destiny of a person. Moloesophy is a branch of astrology that deals with the study of moles. And the science of astrology is a science of the occult. Such beliefs are detestable to the true God and they are certainly not a part of his divine teachings.

Deuteronomy 18:10: “There should not be found in you…. anyone who looks for omens.”

To look for omens means to look for signs – such as a mole – that portend good or evil.

MUHAMMAD DISQUALIFIES HIMSELF AS A TRUE PROPHET

THE MURDER OF A PREGNANT MOTHER

Sunan Abu-Dawud Book 38, Hadith Number 4348:

Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas: A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse the Prophet and disparage him. He forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander the Prophet and abuse him. So he took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. A child who came between her legs was smeared with the blood that was there. When the morning came, the Prophet was informed about it.

He assembled the people and said: I adjure by Allah the man who has done this action and I adjure him by my right to him that he should stand up. Jumping over the necks of the people and trembling the man stood up. He sat before the Prophet and said: Apostle of Allah! I am her master; she used to abuse you and disparage you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not abandon her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her. Thereupon the Prophet said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood.

What cruelty! What injustice! Muhammad approved the killing of a pregnant mother and her unborn child just because the killer said that she had insulted him (Muhammad). What an evil man. This ruthless egotistic man claiming to be a prophet of God unjustly approved the murder of a pregnant woman just because someone said she insulted him. Will a true prophet of God condone the cold-blooded murder of a mother and her child? Does not the murder of an innocent child matter to him? A double murder has been committed and Muhammad did not even bother to investigate to ascertain whether this murderer was lying to escape punishment.

Let us now see how Jesus responded under an even more serious act of wrong committed against him. See how he reacted towards those who came to arrest him, which summarily resulted in his death by execution. Compare now the malicious hatred of Muhammad with the contrasting quality of outstanding love displayed by Jesus. When a great crowd with swords and clubs from the chief priests came to arrest Jesus, one of the disciples of Jesus tried to defend him. Let us follow the narration of this account in the Bible:

Matthew 26:51: With that, one of the companions of Jesus drew out his sword and struck the slave of the high priest and took off his ear.

How did Jesus react?

Matthew 26:52-53: Then Jesus said to him: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will die by the sword. Do you think that I cannot call on to my Father to supply me at this moment more than twelve legions of angels?

Jesus did not condone the violent action of his disciple just because it was done to protect him. In fact, he rebuked the disciple for his rash action. More than that, he lovingly healed the injured ear of the very man who came with those who wanted to arrest him. Such is the love of Jesus Christ. Think, how strongly Jesus would have reacted, if his disciple had instead killed that man. If Jesus did not even approve the injuring of that man, would he condone the murdering of him? Never!

Luke 22:51: “And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.”

These are the hallmarks of a true Prophet of God. Christians are truly blessed for having Jesus as their spiritual guide. One who, by his very example, taught them the surpassing way of love.

AN OPEN LETTER TO SINCERE MUSLIMS

If you strongly believe that Muhammad can guide you to gain eternal salvation, please consider the following confessions of Muhammad in the Qur’an:

Surah 46:9: “Say: I am not the first of the apostles, and I do not know what will be done with me or with you: I do not follow anything but that which is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.” (Shakir)

Surah 6:50: (Muhammad), tell them, “I do not claim to have all the treasures of God in my hands, nor to know the unseen, nor do I claim to be an angel. I follow only what is revealed to me (from God).” Say to them, “Are the blind and the seeing equal?” Why then do you not think? (Sarwar)

Surah 7:188: Say: “I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah wills. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good, and no evil could have touched me: I am only a Warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have Faith (in Allah).” (S. V. Ahamed)

Surah 72:21 is even more damaging regarding your prospect of gaining salvation through this man whom you believe to be a prophet of God. Given below are two translations of this verse.

Surah 72:21: Say, “I possess no power to harm you, nor to guide you.” (Khalifa)

“It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path.” (Hilali-Khan)

Do you really understand the gravity of Muhammad’s statement when he said, “I possess no power to guide you” or “to bring you to the Right Path”? Is it not a prophet’s duty to guide the congregation of God to the “Right Path”? Can you now depend on this man to guide you to salvation? Would it be wise for you to do so?

However, regarding the guidance of Jesus, reflect carefully on what the Qur’an itself reveals about it in the following verse. Ponder how well Jesus must have guided his followers and continues to guide them through the teachings of the Holy Bible.

Surah 3:55: Behold! God said: “O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee of the falsehoods of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection.” (Yusuf Ali, Original 1938)

Those who follow Jesus are Christians. And the Qur’an states very clearly that they will be made superior until “the Day of Resurrection.” The Day of Resurrection or Qiyamah will occur at the time of the end. This means that, according to the Qur’an, even at this very moment true Christians are in an exulted position as far their worship is concerned. If Christians are made superior until the Day of Resurrection as the Qur’an itself testifies, where do you think will be their final destination?

Coming back to Muhammad, not only was he unsure about the outcome of his or your salvation but he was also fearful about it.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 454:

Narrated Masruq:’Aisha said that a Jewess came to her and mentioned the punishment in the grave, saying to her, “May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave.” ‘Aisha then asked Allah’s Apostle about the punishment of the grave. He said, “Yes, (there is) punishment in the grave.” ‘Aisha added, “After that I never saw Allah’s Apostle but seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave in every prayer he prayed.”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 459:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle used to invoke (Allah): “(O Allah) I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave and from the punishment in the Hell fire and from the afflictions of life and death, and the afflictions of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal.”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 455:

Narrated By Asma’ bint Abi Bakr: Allah’s Apostle once stood up delivering a sermon and mentioned the trial which people will face in the grave. When he mentioned that, the Muslims started shouting loudly.

Please reflect on the assurance that Muhammad gave his early followers. Muhammad left them with a very gloomy future threatening over them. Although Muhammad was unsure of the future, he was certain about one thing. The destiny of all Muslims – including yours.

Surah 19:71: It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to Hell. (Sarwar)

Dear Muslims this is the destination that Allah and Muhammad have left for you. Now consider the assurance that Jesus gave his disciples:

John 5:24: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes in Him who sent me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

John 14:6: Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 11:25: Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.

John 6:40: For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.”

Matthew 11:28: Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you.

And the Qur’an records with certainty the outcome of Muhammad and those who follow him:

Surah 39:30: “You Muhammad are destined to die and so are they.” (Al-Muntakhab)

Now consider the assurance that Jesus Christ gave his true followers in the Bible:

John 14:19: “Because I live, you will live also.”

While the Qur’an disqualifies Muhammad as a prophet, it however commands him to seek guidance from those who have been reading the Bible. And you should do the same.

Surah 10:94: “So if you (O Muhammad SAW) are in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto you….then ask those who are reading the Book (the Torah and the Gospel) before you.” (Hilali-Khan)

And what does the Bible advises you to do? It advises you to take in knowledge of Jehovah, the only true God and of his Son, Jesus Christ. The above Qur’anic verse is essentially conceding the fact that the Bible functions as the measurement for Muhammad to determine whether the Qur’an is true or not. It is stating that the Holy Bible functions as the criterion for Muhammad to determine whether the Qur’an is authentic or not. Yes, the Holy Bible functions as the arbitrator, determining whether Muhammad’s revelations are genuinely from God or not. This Qur’anic verse also shows that the Bible’s evidence is critical for the confirmation of the authenticity of the Qur’an. Therefore, according to the Qur’an itself, an understanding of the meaning of the Holy Bible is crucial for you to evaluate if the Qur’an is the Word of God or not. Read Surah 10:94 once again very carefully.

John 17:3: This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

Muslims, please find the courage and the strength to leave this cult of death. Censure Muhammad for what he truly is – a false prophet. But more importantly, turn to Jehovah, the only true God. Only then you will have no dread regarding your salvation.

Isaiah 12:2: Behold! God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid; for Jehovah, even Jehovah is my strength and my might, and he became my salvation.”

Fasting To The Wrong God And In The Wrong Way

RAMADAN : FASTING TO THE WRONG GOD AND IN THE WRONG WAY

A key point which Muhammadians miss in relation to Jesus teaching on fasting, is that, even if they were worshipping the right God, (which they aren’t) they fast in the wrong way, just as they pray the wrong way.

What does Jesus say about such overt posturing?

Three times in Matthew 6 relation to overtly public giving, (verse 2), to prayer (verse 5) and to fasting (verse 16), Jesus uses the same words “They already have their reward.”

Ellicott’s Commentary:

“They have their reward. The Greek is more expressive: ‘They have to the full, and so exhaust.’ There is nothing more for them to look for. They bargained for that praise of men, and they get it; but they sought not the honour that cometh of God only, and therefore He gives them none.”

What the Muhammadian seeks from fasting during Ramadan – that is the cancelling of bad deeds – and earning Allah’s forbearance is the EXACT opposite of what Jesus says here.

Jesus makes it plain that by seeking the praise and respect of men, they should expect NOTHING from God.

#FACT: If we want to impress men we can never impress God. They are mutually exclusive concepts.

As always the Quran is antithetical to the Bible on any and every doctrine you care to mention.

As for how to fast according to Islam there are to the eyes of the kaffir a bewildering array of do’s and dont’s. There are even rules for how the kaffir should behave. See memes attached.

There is another verse from Jesus which comes to mind here, speaking about the Pharisaic Jews and scribes (who are a straight read across to modern day Muhammadians):

“For they tie up heavy burdensome loads, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders” (Matthew 23:4)

Deuteronomy 24:16 does not apply to Jesus ChrisT

For very weird reasons you didn’t quote Leviticus 17:11 which is a clear statute of God that commands shedding of blood and this is specifically for atonement for the soul.

This very same verse is echoed in Hebrews 9:22

This was the major statute of God.

Deuteronomy 24:16 does NOT apply here for the following reasons:

This is a communal law that governed the way people lived in Israel.

You clearly missed the plural words “fathers”, “sons”, ” children “.

No one is being asked to die for anyone except the Lord Jesus Christ who right from the beginning was foretold that He would die for the sins of mankind.

The Lord Jesus Christ is Almighty God who came in the form of a human being….so this doesn’t apply one bit.

John 1:1

John 1:14

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only person who was sent to die for humanity. As the Messiah that was His sole mission.

Zechariah 12:10

John 19:34-37

So there are no fathers being put to death for their children and vice versa.

Furthermore, it is quite interesting that you will quote the Apostle Paul who preached that the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, died and resurrected.

1 Corinthians 1:23

Galatians 2:20

Hebrews 5:7 says God heard Him, but you need to continue reading to Hebrews 6:6, then read Hebrews 9 & 10 which clearly shows that the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and died.

So Hebrews 5:7 is just saying that God heard His supplications but not to stop Him from being crucified and dying, but to make Him the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him

Hebrews 5:9

There is nothing imperfect about the Holy Bible….. The only imperfection is from you and your warped way of reasoning.

Lastly it is another proof of the sheer hypocrisy of islam to criticise the same Holy Bible it claims to have prophecies about Muhammad.

If the Holy Bible is ” imperfect ” like you claim, then why do you muslims love to quote the same Holy Bible to prove the authenticity of Muhammad and the Quran? That makes you abduls the worst kind of hypocrites don’t you think?
